At Mabel Dental Lab, we are a dental lab that provides highly accurate dental restorations for a range of client needs. From partial dentures to clear aligners, we offer medical-grade materials that are designed to last. When you partner with us, you receive quality devices and repair services for your patients. Here is how we are able to assist your practice:
Effective Communication and Collaboration
Partnering with a dental lab allows you to focus on your patients while still providing them with quality dental devices. Because we offer a range of services and materials, you can customize your client’s device to fit their preferences. Metal frames, flexible partials, and a variety of clasp types are interchangeable depending on the device that we are crafting. Clear clasps offer a seamless appearance for partial dentures, and metal frames are added to devices to increase their durability.
To create these devices, you will be able to send us both digital impressions with our file upload page or physical impressions. We recommend that you individually bag and label each physical impression case with the patient’s Rx information to avoid confusion. Our website accepts a variety of raw, digital file types, which may differ depending on your intraoral scanner. You can also send cases directly from most intraoral scanners!
Reliable Quality and Consistency
We are a National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) accredited lab, which means that we are recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA). The ADA requires adherence to specific operational policies and fabrication procedures. This means that we consistently deliver high-quality devices in the dental industry.
The ADA and NADL require guidelines such as skilled dental technicians, clear documentation, and high levels of training. To align with their health and safety standards, we keep our lab well-lit and ventilated and maintain a sterile environment.
Professional Grade Materials
Whether you’re a dentist or a dental lab, we will work with you to create a dental device that is both comfortable and accurate. Crowns, implants, and dentures offer natural-looking prosthetic teeth that are color-matched to the wearer. Some of our available materials include but are not limited to:
Realistic Prosthetic Teeth
What makes our prosthetic teeth so believable is that they mimic the natural translucency of your patient’s existing teeth. Certain brands, such as Ivoclar BlueLine, layer the resin to recreate the translucent appearance of teeth. This brand also comes with a ten-year warranty, allowing us to repair or replace the prosthetic if necessary.
Gold and Specialty Teeth
For patients who are looking for more customization options, we offer a range of gold and specialty teeth. Our experienced technicians will collaborate with you to reach your patient’s aesthetic goals. Dental offices are able to customize the alloy percentages and choose between yellow gold, white gold, and more. Since these teeth are made specifically for each individual, they are non-returnable.
Acrylic and Flexible Tissue Shades
Dentures and partial dentures can be made to allow for the wearer’s own gums to show through the device, creating a uniform appearance. To do this, we offer various color and saturation options, from dark pink to an original tone. This also includes our flexible partial bases.
Repair and Replacement Services
In the event that your patient’s device is damaged, or has outlived its general lifespan, we can perform certain repairs or replace the device entirely. For cracked dentures, we will reposition the device on the patient’s impression. After the fracture has been realigned, we reapply a polymer to cover the damage and create a strong bond. We recommend that patients replace their dentures every five to seven years, depending on how often they use their device.
For cracked crowns and implants that can’t be re-cemented in the office, we will create a replacement device. Cracked crowns expose the damaged tooth underneath, allowing bacteria to enter the device and increase the risk of infection. This is why it is better to replace these types of devices to prevent further damage and periodontal disease.
Turnaround and Rush Orders
Our turnaround times vary depending on the device that you request, but generally take around five to 8 business days. Our business hours may change due to certain holidays such as Christmas and New Years. Once we ship your device to your practice, you will be able to check its trajectory with a tracking number via UPS or our web based portal DDX.
If you need to receive your device faster, such as a denture reline, we offer rush orders. Rush orders must be scheduled in advance, and we can not rush a regular order during the fabrication process. These orders may also require additional shipping fees.
